Hidden amongst the trees in a secluded corner of our private woodland, Willow Lodge is the perfect escape for families and couples looking to switch off, reconnect and enjoy the simple pleasures of outdoor living.
Surrounded by nature and tucked away beneath the woodland canopy, Willow feels wonderfully private and peaceful — a place for lazy mornings, campfire evenings and long days spent exploring the woods with the people who matter most.
A short walk along the woodland path leads you to your secluded canvas lodge, where hammocks sway between the trees, the fire crackles into the evening and the slower pace of woodland life quickly takes over.
At the heart of Willow is a traditional wood-burning stove, keeping the lodge warm and cosy whatever the weather. Cook relaxed breakfasts, warm up after countryside walks or settle in for evenings of board games, hot chocolate and quiet conversation beneath the canvas.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for relaxed family meals, alongside a fridge/freezer to keep drinks chilled and treats ready for sunny afternoons outdoors.
The private bathroom features a beautiful roll-top bath with shower mixer, luxury toiletries and hot water on demand — adding a little indulgence to your woodland escape.

As daylight fades, listen for owls calling through the trees, spot bats darting overhead and keep an eye out for deer quietly wandering through the woodland nearby.
Although wonderfully off-grid (no power outlets), Willow still includes modern comforts including solar-powered charging points, lighting throughout and everything needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay.
No crowds. No rush. Just fresh air, crackling fires and the kind of peaceful family moments that are easy to lose in everyday life.
Our luxurious canvas lodges each sleep up to 6 guests (4 x adults max) . The lodges comprise of a King Bedroom, a Twin Bedroom and our unique Cabin Bed - every child's favourite bed!
Each canvas lodge has its own en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and wash basin, and a separate toilet room located to the side of the lodge next to the bathroom.
At the heart of the lodge is our wood burning stove: it will keep the lodge warm in all weathers, and provides a means of cooking.
We do also provide a small gas ring so that you can enjoy that all important cup of coffee, or tea without having to light the stove. Each lodge has its own BBQ area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is also a fridge/freezer. The dining area has a 6 seater dining table and benches.
The lounge area has a large 3 seater leather sofa and chair, with stunning views of the countryside when the main doors are clipped back.
The Large deck area at the front of the lodge has a dining table for 6, so you can dine al fresco. There are also 2 x lounge chairs to sit back and enjoy the beautiful views over the rolling Rutland countryside.
We are very lucky not to have any major towns or cities creating light pollution in the county of Rutland, so star gazing at Spindleberry Woods is absolutely amazing.
