A gentle stroll along the woodland path brings you to your secluded lodge, where the sounds of rustling leaves, birdsong and wildlife quickly replace the noise of everyday life.
At the heart of Ash is a traditional wood-burning stove, creating a warm and cosy space whatever the season. Spend slow mornings cooking breakfast together, return from countryside walks to glowing fires and settle in for relaxed evenings beneath the canvas.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for easy family meals, along with a fridge/freezer to keep drinks chilled and treats ready for sunny afternoons outdoors.
The private bathroom includes a beautiful roll-top bath with shower mixer, luxury toiletries and hot water on demand — bringing comfort and a touch of indulgence to your woodland stay.

As daylight fades, watch the woodland come alive with bats, owls and deer moving quietly through the trees before the stars begin to appear above the canopy.
Although wonderfully off-grid (no power outlets), Ash still includes modern comforts including solar-powered charging points, lighting throughout and everything needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay.
No alarms. No traffic. Just fresh air, glowing sunsets and the kind of simple family moments that stay with you long after the holiday ends.
Our luxurious canvas lodges each sleep up to 6 guests (4 x adults max) . The lodges comprise of a King Bedroom, a Twin Bedroom and our unique Cabin Bed - every child's favourite bed!
Each canvas lodge has its own en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and wash basin, and a separate toilet room located to the side of the lodge next to the bathroom.
At the heart of the lodge is our wood burning stove: it will keep the lodge warm in all weathers, and provides a means of cooking.
We do also provide a small gas ring so that you can enjoy that all important cup of coffee, or tea without having to light the stove. Each lodge has its own BBQ area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is also a fridge/freezer. The dining area has a 6 seater dining table and benches.
The lounge area has a large 3 seater leather sofa and chair, with stunning views of the countryside when the main doors are clipped back.
The Large deck area at the front of the lodge has a dining table for 6, so you can dine al fresco. There are also 2 x lounge chairs to sit back and enjoy the beautiful views over the rolling Rutland countryside.
We are very lucky not to have any major towns or cities creating light pollution in the county of Rutland, so star gazing at Spindleberry Woods is absolutely amazing.
