Spend your days exploring the woods, spotting wildlife and cooking outdoors, before settling in for cosy evenings beside the wood-burning stove or under the stars around the fire pit.
The large elevated deck, complete with glass balustrade, is made for morning coffee, sunset drinks and long summer evenings watching the valley below.
Inside, Oak combines rustic charm with thoughtful comfort. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for relaxed family meals, along with a fridge/freezer to keep drinks chilled and ice creams ready for sunny afternoons.
Sleeping up to six guests (max 4 x adults), the lodge features:
The private bathroom includes a beautiful roll-top bath with shower mixer, luxury toiletries and hot water on demand — bringing a touch of indulgence to your woodland stay.

As daylight fades, keep an eye out for barn owls, bats, badgers and even deer wandering through the woodland. On clear nights, the dark Rutland skies make stargazing unforgettable.
Although wonderfully off-grid (no power outlets), Oak Lodge still includes modern touches such as solar-powered charging points, lighting throughout and all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.

Our luxurious canvas lodges each sleep up to 6 guests (4 x adults max) . The lodges comprise of a King Bedroom, a Twin Bedroom and our unique Cabin Bed - every child's favourite bed!
Each canvas lodge has its own en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and wash basin, and a separate toilet room located to the side of the lodge next to the bathroom.
At the heart of the lodge is our wood burning stove: it will keep the lodge warm in all weathers, and provides a means of cooking.
We do also provide a small gas ring so that you can enjoy that all important cup of coffee, or tea without having to light the stove. Each lodge has its own BBQ area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is also a fridge/freezer. The dining area has a 6 seater dining table and benches.
The lounge area has a large 3 seater leather sofa and chair, with stunning views of the countryside when the main doors are clipped back.
The Large deck area at the front of the lodge has a dining table for 6, so you can dine al fresco. There are also 2 x lounge chairs to sit back and enjoy the beautiful views over the rolling Rutland countryside.
We are very lucky not to have any major towns or cities creating light pollution in the county of Rutland, so star gazing at Spindleberry Woods is absolutely amazing.
