Tucked away within 20 acres of private woodland in the beautiful county of Rutland, our canvas lodges Ash, Birch, Oak & Willow offer the kind of escape families and couples dream about — peaceful mornings, crackling campfires and long days spent surrounded by nature.
Hidden amongst the trees with sweeping views across the valley, each lodge is designed to help you slow down and reconnect; whether that’s toasting marshmallows with the children, enjoying a quiet glass of wine on the deck as the sun sets, or simply waking to birdsong instead of alarms.
With no traffic, no crowds and no rush, this is a chance to swap screens for woodland adventures, fresh air and simple moments together.
A short walk from the car park along a winding woodland path, your lodge gradually reveals itself through the trees — your own secluded corner of the countryside waiting to be discovered.
Electricity – In our canvas lodges we do not have any power outlets. There are solar powered facilities (weather permitting) for charging phones & tablets. We do however have a large fridge with small freezer in each canvas lodge and a main light in each room.
The Rocket Lodge is a bespoke creation that offers something different to our existing accommodation but will be very much in keeping with the unique style of A Little Bit of Rough. We are sure that you will not find anything else like it, anywhere!
